Courtyard by Marriott – Palm Beach, Jupiter
Today we are looking at a hotel that holds a special place in my heart. It may just seem like a regular Courtyard Marriott, but it was also the hotel we stayed at during my wedding weekend. This is one of the most convenient hotels in the area to stay at if you are having or attending a wedding in Jupiter, and it has a lot of features nearby that make it stand out among other Courtyard Mariotts. If you are churning Marriott points, this is a great place to stay on your next trip down to the Jupiter/Palm Beach area.
My favorite part about this hotel is that it’s located in the Abacoa town center. This puts it within walking distance of at least 5 great restaurants, a few bars, shopping and a spa. This was great for us as we found a new favorite sushi place, Hokkaido Hibachi & Sushi and then went next door to Palazzo for pre-wedding manicures. On the wedding day, my Dad took all the guys to Barber’s Edge and they got straight razor shaves for the special occasion. We also had a meet and greet at Civil Society Brewing Company the day before the wedding so we could catch up with all our out of town guests. I will go more in depth regarding it in a Brewery Series post.
The hotel was beautifully landscaped and there were plenty of great spots for us to take pictures throughout the weekend. We loved these archways covered with pretty purple flowers. We also hung by the pool for a bit and it was not anything special, but it was sparkling clean and a nice temperature. The lobby had a few beachy and Floridian touches, but otherwise stuck to the Courtyard brand theming including having a Starbucks in the lobby.
The rooms were average sized, and we had a decent amount of space to get ready in before the wedding. The staff at this resort really went above and beyond, as they made sure all the bridal party rooms had large balconies. Andrew and I just booked a normal king size room for our wedding night but they upgraded us to a huge suite for free! They had also taken care of putting together a wedding block for us and even accommodating our guests by giving them the same price once the block was full. We were surprised as well that when we told them we were having a farewell breakfast the next day, they provided a meeting room for us to have it in and helped us setup and clean afterwards. The service at this resort elevated it to the next level for me and I felt so lucky that this staff kept everything going smoothly hotel wise during the wedding weekend.
If you are getting travelling to Jupiter, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It is in a great location, has reasonable prices and a staff that goes above and beyond. I originally considered the Wyndham in Jupiter, but for a wedding, it makes more sense to find a hotel that’s affordable for all travelers and the Courtyard Palm Beach fits this bill. If you are just coming to the Jupiter and West Palm Beach area for fun, this is also the perfect spot, as it is a quick drive to the beach and shopping. There is so much to do around here and this hotel is even right next to Roger Dean Stadium, so if you go during Spring Training, you can see the Cardinals play. I will be posting a lot more tips and a travel guide for visiting this area soon that will show off this charming Florida beach town.
