16 South Florida ResortPass Hotels For a Fun Pool Day
One of the best parts of a Florida vacation is relaxing in the sun by the pool or beach. However, for those of us who live here, we can experience it anytime without paying a nightly rate! Thanks to the app, you can find many South Florida ResortPass hotels that let you spend the day by the pool for less than the price of a dinner out.
If you didn’t know, ResortPass is an app and website that allows you to spend a day at a hotel using the pool and any other amenities specified. In this post, I will go through the best options, whether you want a couple’s pool day, a beach day, or some family fun. I have broken it up into Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Naples, so you can find a ResortPass hotel option anywhere in South Florida! Check out the table below to choose the area and you will find my choices for budget, splurge, beach, and family-friendly hotels and why I think they are the best.

The Best Miami ResortPass Options
Miami is known for glamorous pools and gorgeous beaches, so taking advantage of them is a must! Many end up staying in the city when visiting Miami, but you can still enjoy a day by a beautiful pool in South Beach if you do.
This is by far the place in Florida with the most ResortPass hotels so there are lots of options. However, I think these four resorts check the boxes for any kind of Miami pool day.
1. Confidante – South Beach’s Budget Pool Day
- Daily Rate: $35-$45
- Amenities: Heated Pools, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs, Fitness Center
- Parking Cost: $30+ Valet Parking
My favorite Miami Beach hotel has been The Confidante for years and of course, it also happens to be an excellent ResortPass option. You can spend a day here for a price more affordable than most of Miami and get some cute insta-worthy photos as well. The entire resort is retro themed with colorful chairs and umbrellas and there are two pools with plenty of room to swim.
If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this pool only occasionally has a DJ and is instead more relaxing. Andrew and I had a great time poolside here drinking out of coconuts with the occasional stroll on the beach. Just remember to factor in valet parking (around $30) into your budget or take an uber to the resort!
2. Ritz-Carlton, South Beach – The Ultimate Splurge
- Daily Rate: $150-$200
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Weekend DJ, Complimentary Sunscreen, and Water
- Parking Cost: $25 Valet Parking
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Ritz-Carlton offers a luxurious day in South Beach with one of the nicest pools in town. Though it costs at least $150 to get in, this is a place to be seen and order bottle service. The pool is perfectly heated and the lounge chairs are plush daybeds.
This price may seem absurd to many, but the hotel costs at least $500 per night, so this is the way to get a taste of luxury. Keep in mind, beach access is not included. However, there is a live band on Thursdays and a DJ on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for those who want to party. The complimentary sunscreen and infused water are additional perks that add to the VIP feel of the place!
3. The Sagamore Hotel South Beach – Party Beach Day
- Daily Rate: $40-$70
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs, Weekend DJ, Fitness Center
- Parking Cost: $20 for up to 4 hours, then $10 per additional hour
If you want both a poolside DJ and a day at the beach, the Sagamore Hotel in South Beach is the best bet. For around $55 you can get a pool and beach pass that includes access to their epic weekend pool parties. Fitness events occur frequently during the week as well and are included with the pass.
This iconic south beach hotel offers tons of comfy chairs with lots of shade both by the pool and on the beach. The bar also has a great selection of tropical drinks and food so you can stay all day. One other note, the beachside umbrella, and valet cost extra, so make sure to budget for those costs if needed.
4. Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection – Family-Friendly Miami
- Daily Rate: $50
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Kids are Free, Beach for Additional Cost
- Parking Cost: Paid Valet
Whether you have kids or want a relaxing, low-key day, the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club is a wonderful resort for either. This is one of the rare Miami hotels that have separate family and adults-only pools so either group can enjoy their own space. There is no DJ, but the large pool area with plush chairs and shade is often just what I need.
The biggest perk is that kids are free and since there is a family swimming pool, you do not have to worry about them bothering adults. You can also use the beach and swim in the ocean, but if you want a beach chair, there is an upcharge for that. With the 10% off discount for food and drink, this hotel makes for an affordable staycation day for families!
Fort Lauderdale ResortPass Pools
Less than an hour north of Miami, Fort Lauderdale is the next best place for a pool day. There are at least a dozen ResortPass options here, with many being cheaper than Miami too! I personally love Fort Lauderdale and find it to be the ideal mix of casual, but still energetic for that vacation vibes kind of day. Here are my picks for getting a ResortPass in Fort Lauderdale!
5. Westin Beach Resort – Glamorous Pool and Beach Day
- Daily Rate: $40-$50
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Beach Access
- Parking Cost: Paid Self-Parking
One of the most coveted hotels in Fort Lauderdale is the Westin, but you can spend the day here for $50 or less! A ResortPass includes both the pool and the beach and a convenient skywalk to get between them so you don’t have to worry about traffic. They also only allow guests 21 and up, so the pool area tends to be child-free.
Along with the heated pool, you can enjoy the beach, and pool bar all day. The one complaint many have is that you get a wristband upon entry, but it does not open the beach access elevator, so you often have to wave something over to let you in. If that inconvenience is an issue for you, you may wish to look elsewhere, but quality-wise, this is an incredible option.
6. Bahia Mar – Fort Lauderdale Beach – Rooftop Views on a Budget
- Daily Rate: $20-$35
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Beach Access, Bike Rentals, Tennis Court and Rentals,
- Parking Cost: $20 Valet
The Bahia Mar offers guests a day by the pool with excellent rooftop views. This is a luxurious resort to relax at for less than $35 per person! Along with the heated pool, there is a pool bar and complimentary bike rentals, and a tennis court!
This hotel is right on the strip, so you can shower and bike around afterward to have drinks and food at one of the best restaurants in Fort Lauderdale! Though it can be crowded sometimes, this is still a top-notch place to enjoy the sun and views.
7. B Ocean Resort – Classic Fort Lauderdale Experience
- Daily Rate: $35-$75
- Amenities: Heated Pools, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs,
- Parking Cost: $20 Valet
There is no icon in Fort Lauderdale like the B Ocean Resort. It’s home to the famous mermaid bar and has hosted celebrities for over fifty years. Rates can be expensive for a room, but you can spend a day at the pool and beach here for around $50, although the rate can go up to $75.
This resort has two heated pools and beach access with chairs. On weekends, this place is especially fun with a DJ and pool games. It’s right on the beach, so you can easily go back and forth, all while enjoying tropical drinks from the bar. Out of all the Fort Lauderdale ResortPass options, I think this one has the all-around best experience.
8. Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort – Water Park Style Resort
- Daily Rate: $40-$70
- Amenities: 2 Pools, Water Slide, Beach Access
- Parking Cost: $39 Valet Parking
Though Hollywood is just south of Fort Lauderdale, the Margaritaville Resort is worth the drive! This resort pool is close to a water park with multiple pools, a slide, and beach access. You can also try out a FlowRider wave machine here for an additional fee!
With a kid ResortPass starting at $25, this is my recommendation for a family pool and beach day near Fort Lauderdale. Kids will love the slide and waterfall and adults can relax at the hot tub and beach bar! For a taste of vacation, Margaritaville is a dream!
Pool Day Options in Palm Beach
The Palm Beaches stretch from Jupiter to Boca Raton and with that offer a variety of exceptional resorts. Most are more low key than the lively resorts of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. However, those looking for a relaxing beach day or a glam pool day have plenty of options here. These are my four best picks for ResortPass hotels in and around West Palm Beach.
9. Hilton West Palm Beach – Luxury Pool Retreat
- Daily Rate: $20-$35
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Beach Access, Saturday DJ
- Parking Cost: $21 Valet Parking
I was shocked to see the low price of the Hilton West Palm Beach ResortPass because it’s such a glamorous pool area. Tucked a few minutes away from The Square and Downtown West Palm Beach, this resort has an oasis of a pool area. There is a heated pool, yard games, a DJ on Saturdays, and a fitness center with Peleton bikes.
This resort is great for adults and families; however, the weekend DJ definitely makes for more of an adult vibe. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks in, but there is a pool bar with snacks and the most delicious drinks served in a coconut! With plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas, this place exudes Palm Beach vibes.
10. Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa – Epic Beachfront Views
- Daily Rate: $100-$155
- Amenities: Adults Only Pool, Hot Tub, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs
- Parking Cost: Free Parking
This next option is a splurge, but understandably so as it’s in the perfect beachfront location. Guests can enjoy a day of pampering at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. Starting at $100, a day pass here includes access to the resort pool, adults-only pool, hot tub, and beach.
The views from this resort are something out of a movie, as you can swim with views of the waves in front of you. The service is also excellent and is quick to bring any food or drinks you purchase. For extra luxury, the spa pass starts at $200 and offers saunas, dipping pools, and gorgeous lounge areas. Those looking for the ultimate paradise can’t beat the Eau Palm Beach Resort!
11. Tideline Ocean Resort and Spa – Tranquil Pool and Beach
- Daily Rate: $65-$85
- Amenities: Tranquil Pool, Hot Tub, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs, Sauna
- Parking Cost: Paid Valet Parking
Another spot for a beautiful day in the sun is Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa. This Palm Beach hotel is also right on the beach and lounge chairs are reserved for all ResortPass guests. The pool has a sleek design and there is a hot tub to go with it.
This is the kind of place I would pick for a relaxing day. It’s not very child friendly, so you can expect a quiet time with drinks and views of the beach. There is also a sauna and a relaxation lounge indoors for those wanting some extra pampering. Whether you are looking for a couple’s date or a girls’ day, Tideline is one of the best ResortPass options on the Palm Beaches.
12. Delray Sands Resort – Fun Family Beach Day
- Daily Rate: $50
- Amenities: Oceanfront Pool, Hot Tub, Kids Pool, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs
- Parking Cost: Paid Valet Parking
Just south of West Palm Beach, Delray Beach is an exciting place to visit for families and adults alike! The Delray Sands Resort has everything you need for a fun day on the beach. There is an oceanfront pool, a hot tub, a kid’s pool, and beach access with a chair.
With plentiful chairs, you’ll have no trouble finding a seat, and waiters can serve drinks and food too. The kids’ pool also helps with making sure adults can relax in peace while kids can do all the cannonballs they desire. The rate is always $50 for adults and $30 for kids, so you can plan for an awesome pool and beach day for less than you would spend on a dinner out!
South Florida ResortPass Spots on the Gulf Coast
Lastly, I want to highlight a few ResortPass options in Southwest Florida. Though these are at least a two-hour drive from Miami and Fort Lauderdale, they are perfect for those spending time in Naples or Fort Myers. The hotels here can also be pretty pricey, but it’s hard to beat the calm, clear beaches.
13. Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples – Luxurious Naples Experience
- Daily Rate: $115-$135
- Amenities: Pool with Slides, Lazy River, Splash Pad
- Parking Cost: Free Parking
If the Ritz-Carlton in Naples is on your bucket list, you can now get a ResortPass and experience it for the day. Though it costs over $100 per day for both kids and adults, it’s basically an upscale water park. In addition to the heated pool, there is a lazy river, multiple slides, and a splash pad.
The slides are much more legitimate than your average hotel pool slide. They have one with inner tubes to go down and two body slides! The kids’ splash area also has slides and sprinklers for the little ones. The lazy river is the biggest hit though with a winding path through tropical palms. Between this and the top-notch service and pool chairs, you will never want to leave the paradise of Ritz Carlton Naples!
14. Naples Grand Beach Resort – Beach Resort Day in Naples
- Daily Rate: $65-$85
- Amenities: Pool with Slide, Adults Only Pool, Hot Tub, Lap Pool, Beach Access with Lounge Chairs
- Parking Cost: Free Valet Parking
For those looking to enjoy a day of pool and beach in Naples, the Naples Grand Beach Resort is the best ResortPass option. This is a huge complex with multiple pools, a slide, and more. The entire resort is so dreamy with fauna at every turn and a waterfall in the center of the pool. With so many areas to spread out, it’s impossible not to relax here!
In addition to the pools and hot tub, there is also a shuttle that takes you over to the beach. The shuttle and a beach chair are included, although you can upgrade to a cabana with an umbrella if you want to splurge. The bars and restaurants also offer a variety of drinks and snacks. At $85 or less (kids are half-price), this is an amazing place to spend the day!
15. Luminary Hotel – Budget City Vibes
- Daily Rate: $25-$50
- Amenities: Heated Pool, Waterfront Views
- Parking Cost: Free Valet Parking
If you want to visit a Fort Myers hotel with ResortPass, the Luminary Hotel is a great option. This is a boutique hotel with a simple, heated pool. Here you will find plenty of comfy chaise loungers and an amazing view of the Caloosahatchee River.
For only $25 and with free valet parking, it is perfect for relaxing on a budget. There is a bar open on weekends and a rooftop bar for more excellent views. Though there is not a ton to do besides the pool, most reviewers say it is a wonderful place to spend a day.
16. Hyatt Regency Coconut Pointe – Family Fun near Fort Myers
- Daily Rate: $65-$105
- Amenities: Pools with five waterslides, Lazy River, Adults Only Pool, and Hot Tub, Games
- Parking Cost: Free Self parking
Last, but definitely not least is the massive Hyatt Regency Coconut Pointe Resort. This pool area is the best of all on the list with five waterslides, a lazy river, and waterfalls. I have had this hotel on my list for a while, but now that you can get a ResortPass for the day for $105 or less, I will have to come to visit even sooner!
Located in Bonita Springs, this resort has everything you need for a fun pool day. Families will especially enjoy it with all the slides, games, and pools for kids. However, there is also an adults-only pool and hot tub so adults can have some space as well. For a day in a tropical paradise, this resort will totally transport you to vacation mode even if you are still close to home!
Know Before You Go: The Best South Florida ResortPass Hotels
Whether you are a local looking for a day cation or from out of town and less than impressed with your accommodation’s pool, booking a ResortPass is the perfect way to get your pool day fix. There are over fifty Miami ResortPass hotel options alone and dozens more across South Florida. I think these sixteen options are the best to consider, but they often sell out, so be sure to book early! Here are some other things to keep in mind before booking a ResortPass.
- Rates vary depending on season and demand. Expect daily rates to be higher on weekends and days during the holidays and spring break.
- All daily rates cited here are the ranges for one adult. Kids get in cheaper at many South Florida ResortPass options.
- Hotels often offer a cabana ResortPass that admits four or more people and includes a cabana with shade, comfier chairs, and sometimes a TV and mini fridge. Occasionally this is a similar price to the per person rate if you are going with a group. Be sure to check for that option when booking!
- If you plan to dine by the pool, the prices tend to be more expensive. Some hotels offer an all-inclusive food option where the daily rate includes a meal and a drink. Check the menu prices ahead of time to see if this is a deal!
- Most hotels will refund you if you cancel the night before your ResortPass date. However, be sure to read the cancellation policy before booking if you are worried about your date.
